The next SQLRG workshop will be held in Chinchilla on 14–15 May 2026.
This two‑day event, From Risk to Rehab, will explore the challenges and innovations involved in rehabilitating high‑risk land.
Day 1 – Presentations & Demonstrations (Chinchilla RSL Memorial Club)
Participants will hear from industry experts through a series of presentations and demonstrations addressing the complexities of managing and rehabilitating high‑risk areas.

Day 2 – Site Tour (Cameby Downs Coal Mine).
Day two will feature a guided bus tour of the Cameby Downs Coal Mine, hosted by the site’s Environment and Community Superintendent. Attendees will gain firsthand insight into rehabilitation practices at an active mining operation.
