Presentations, Dinner and Field Day

The October SQLRG workshop will be hosted at Oyster Creek, Burleigh Heads QLD. The day will include demonstrations and presentations talking about MANAGING BIODIVERSITY IN ONE OF AUSTRALIA FASTING GROWING CORRIDORS!!! 

24/10/2024 – A day of networking and presentations at the beautiful David Fleay Wildlife Park will be followed by a field tour along the M1 Upgrade between Burleigh to Palm Beach. The day will finish off with an eartly dinner at the Burleigh Town Hotel.

  • Sarah Carnell – 30 minute animal encounter
 

We plan to walk the creek and view the design and construction that has taken place over the past 2 years. 

Oyster Creek is a fauna corridor that connects the west to the coast. A multitude of design elements have been used to ensure connectivity is maintained for everything from fish species to endangered butterflies.
