Presentations, Dinner and Field Day

The recent SQLRG workshop was hosted in the Toowoomba Region on the 30th of March at the Burke and Wills Hotel. The day included demonstrations and presentations talking about all things SOIL!!! 

30/03/23 – A day of networking and presentations followed by a field tour.

We then headed to Cambooya where Jayne Thorpe from Stablish discussed Darling Downs grasslands and showed us some recent site rehab works. Jayne has grown up in a rural agricultural business (free-range sheep (wool and meat) and free-range beef cattle), completed a Bachelor of Science in Plant Ecology, Post Grad Diploma in Ethnobotany, and has worked for 20 years with Landcare and Natural Resource Management not-for-profits.

The ticket also included coffee, morning tea, lunch and dinner (cash bar) following the event at 4 Brothers Brewing.
